Pizza Dough (Bread Machine)

You own a bread machine. Use it. Makes 1 lb of dough.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2/3 cup water (80-90°F — warm, not volcanic)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups 00 bread flour
  • 1.25 tsp yeast

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1Add ingredients to the bread pan in the order listed. Yes, the order matters. The yeast goes last so it doesn't touch the water. Trust the process.
  2. 2Select the Dough/Pizza Dough cycle and press Start. Walk away. You have a machine for this.
  3. 3When the cycle finishes, deflate the dough and use it. That's it. You're done. Go make pizza.
